Mekong Artists Corp has announced the launch of a weekly cai luong
(reformed opera) show starting next month at HCM City''s Institute for
Cultural Exchange with France, or IDECAF 31 Thai Van Lung Street,
District 1.
Truong The Linh has won this year''s Dogma Prize, the theme of which was
self-portraiture, and a VND120 million (US$5,700) cash award that comes
with it.
The Mekong Artists Co has developed Hon Viet (The
Soul of Viet Nam), a stage show designed to give visitors to HCM City an
insight into Vietnamese history.
